Case Story: Collaborating for Greater Strategic Impact
The Company

A Finnish company with international operations
-
The company serves both B2B and consumer markets
Background and development needs
A strategically important team within the client organization had experienced personnel changes in recent years and was facing new demands due to a shifting operating environment. The team had identified challenges in building trust and collaboration. Their workload had increased, and day-to-day priorities were focused mainly on typical operational requests, leaving less room for a proactive and strategic approach.
The team wished to find ways to jointly reshape their mindset and ways of working, strengthen mutual trust, and shift towards a more strategic culture of collaboration.
How the development process was delivered
To support the client team, a phased development process was designed and implemented. Its objectives were to strengthen internal collaboration, increase ownership, and renew thinking and ways of working. The approach combined individual and collective reflection, developing emotional awareness and skills, and the planning of concrete change actions.
The development journey included interviews with team members, a series of workshops, and coaching sessions for the team leader. The narrative method was used as a tool for building shared understanding and commitment. Based on this, the team also selected key focus areas for the workshops, such as emotional awareness and skills.
The work drew on employee survey results, identifying concrete actions to address challenges that had surfaced. The workshops also produced guiding principles for team collaboration, helping to steer operations, support prioritization, and improve feedback practices.
Client Voice
Working with Netco helped us pause, renew our thinking, and build stronger trust — we gained concrete tools to foster more open, collaborative interaction. The results of the next employee survey were very encouraging. We had made significant progress in many important areas, including strengthening engagement, improving feedback and communication, and our key metric, eNPS, had made a major leap forward. I can warmly recommend partnering with Netco to develop team collaboration.
